2 of my rayvens started out as green with black rubber work...Then they ended up 'factory' camo with black rubber work.

The more I look at the basic green, the more I think it needs camo or something else.

Whenever i think "this one'll be the green rifle", it's starts like that...then gets camo'd or Tac-Blacked. I can never get happy with such a plain block of green. I think the only way i can ever be happy to do it is either as a sniper, but with scrim around it (similar to my rayven sniper), or filth covered like my 'Dirty Gerty' Mk 34 (Which was also a 'green rifle' that turned Tac-Black).

... uggh.... REALLY wish i could getmy cam and post my nerf mod.... but the camera is lost somewhere in one of the cars (it was packed for my family vacation, and remembering to take it in was not really acted upon...). AAAAanyways, nice mod, a semi simple but clean paint job.... and not to mention it is increased in voltage, but no real screwy looking battery case that is external or anything is shown. Very nice. Wish i could do internal mods without forgetting the piece arrangement (i am kind of fearful of doing so: the last 2 times on other recons we had it was attempted, the spring came right out the end! and i value my eye and the guns ability to function... in the same way each time XD)... bah... well, so instead i have a 3-foot or so barrel gun that has a range decrease i have YET to measure, but is enough that sniping is likely out-of-question. Plus i dont have a pipe cutter. but, y'know, on to the point, it IS a nice clean mod and a performance beast i assume (although on a semi auto that fires as fast as your finger, that does not much to the speed, i don't think). Well, another work well done, sir!

You gotta find that camera! I wish I could take some kind of modding credit - this goes to to SG_Nerf of Mod Works Singapore. Basically I use the 3.7v Trustfire batteries (charged up to 4.2v) in a configuration with "dummies"; AA cells that simply allow current to flow.

So the mod is just some special batteries and a charger. No work on my end really. The cool part is that these batteries boost every kind of NERF gun that uses AA, including the Barricade.

He also covers modding the pushrod to accept Stefans, but scroll to the bottom and check the info on the batteries;

... never really modified an electronic blaster, and internally do not think i will be able to, but thanks! Though if i knew about electrical wiring, i would be abler to call this practically the most simple nerf blaster out there (no AR, no springs, or anything in the back, just a pushrod... and flywheels.) but since we are on the topic of mods,
.... i was thinking of a mod to this very same nerf gun.... to look sorta' like this: [link]
... the all familiar halo MA5C of course!
Attach recon barrel
Make custom pvc attatchments (and install fake ammo counter in one XD)
and, y'know, typical barrel-extent-and-paintjob cosmetic mods

but on the topic of the camera... i have thought of workarounds if i dont.... but the images will look like a potato was the photographer's tool of trade.... may blur out the fact that i used quite a bit of hot glue, though (i had planned to add a flash hider, but the only pvc end cap i could find was... too large... and the stock was hardened aesthetically with the pieces of a buzzbee clip gun mag. AND there was epoxy, but i could not find a nozzle...)

I can sort of describe the mod for now... the gun is intended as a replica of the gun for my character (unfortunately with some differences: moddding aesthetically is NOT foolproof (like the notch/missing corner at the top of the RAS... handguard... or... whatever it is... and a small yellow stripe on the front was left unpainted for legal usage with all attatchments other than the barrel removed(as if it looks realistic... lol...))) many details were put in , and it is intended for use with the armor of my char i am making with Great Stuff (spray foam) for use at a cosplay, or... nerf war... and the like.

That would be a sweet conversion! They have a lot of info in that article - I especially like the wording in regards to the 32 round clip as opposed to the 60; "an engagement with numerous and/or particularly resilient enemies will likely require the user to reload a few times before they die."

yes, it would be.

XD yea, that is a good way to word it the wiki did... humorous... not failing to deliver the point, but humorous.(it should be noted that would be the case anyway most likely (have you PLAYED CE? before the MA5C was issued? thing was like an SMG: underpowered, innacurate by ANY measure under any precausions, and fires too damn fast to be an actual AR))

Thanks! I was toying with the idea of a camo pattern, but for some reason I like the basic army green.

I wish I had the time you have. I think like Brian you may live in a parallel universe where every hour is 6 hours long.
Another neat, lovely mod.

I appreciate it! You know how easy it is to lay some base coat down. I need to get busy with some weathering - the real work!
