Inspired by Marqelon's Hammershot. Performance modified, spring compression, removed restrictor and posts. Still need to get final ranges.

When I cut the cylinder down I had no idea I would need to completely rebuild the front of the center shaft - you can see the primer and a hint of underlying bondo at the front of the cylinder where I re-installed the "cup" for the guidepost/metal rod.

Sanded the handle down to get rid of those ugly "zombie rags" and almost went through the plastic -- had to reinforce the plastic internally. Someday I'll figure how to get that spring mechanism to fit inside a wood handle.

One other thing I noticed on the Hammershot -- 20mm Weaver accessories fit perfectly on the lower rail under the faux "tank". Simply grind away a small semi-circular notch for any supporting rod and your accessories will clamp right on to it.
